For someone who is into Web designing there are a list of online tools and converters which he is going to need. A Web Designer is very different from a Web Developer. A Web Developer works more on the server side development, web server configuration, and web server security. In order to become a Website Developer, a Web Designer would need to learn additional programming languages and methodologies, such as Object Oriented design and Java programming.

Web Designers may or may not have advanced degrees. A degree in Computer Science or a marketing related degree (Business Administration or E-Commerce) is most common. Many Website Designers are self-taught, starting on their own and learning design skills and design languages as they develop pages. This is big business after all and they all want a piece of it!

In my experience there have seen many sites offering an all in one package. It really  depends on the individual designer to make a choice which suits him/her best. HTML Editor, Flash Form Builder ,Web Design Software, Flash Form Builder ,Flash Photo Gallery, Visual Site Designer , MP3 Ripper & Burner, GIF Animator, Website Color Schemer are  all easily available online for those who want to try their hand out at Web designing. Most of these Web Design software are available as free trial downloads so you can play with the programs before you actually invest to buy. Now if you’re a novice don’t get too worked up cause publishing your site is merely the act of transferring your files from your hard disk to the web server. We normally do this by using an FTP program (File Transfer Protocol=FTP). Some software such as Dreamweaver (One of the favorite web design, authoring and development software that the professional web designers use) have in built site management software which will allow you to transfer the files and synchronize the newer versions on your PC with the older ones on the web server.
